What is the DNA+ Forensic Coding system?
The DNA+ Forensic Coding system is a bottled solution that contains microdots with a unique forensic code assigned specifically to you. When applied to your bike, this code provides irrefutable evidence that you are its owner. Law enforcement will find the code registered to you in a secured national database.
What will I receive as part of the DNA+ Forensic Coding system?
You will receive the DNA+ solution in a small plastic bottle. The application guide included with your system provides complete instructions on how and where to apply the solution. It is easy to use and involves placing just a small amount of the solution to appropriate areas of your motorcycle. The solution dries clear on the bike. It is only visible when police use ultraviolet light to scan a recovered bike.
You will also receive two small holographic decals you can adhere to your bike that will warn a would-be thief that it is protected by DNA+ Forensic Coding.
When will I receive my DNA+ Forensic Coding system?
New customers receive the DNA+ Forensic Coding system in the mail six to eight weeks after the effective date of your Foremost motorcycle policy.
Why should I use DNA+ Forensic Coding?
DNA+ Forensic Coding is a powerful deterrent to thieves. If they see a DNA+ decal on a motorcycle, they are more likely to leave it alone. DNA+ is virtually impossible to remove so it also provides police with undeniable proof that you own the bike.
Where on my motorcycle should the DNA+ solution be placed?
It's best to apply the DNA+ Forensic Coding solution in concealed areas. It can be placed in a variety of locations such as inside the steering stem, on the inside of the frame, on the underside of the seat and under the fuel tank. Your application guide will contain a complete list of the suggested locations.
Will DNA+ damage my motorcycle?
The DNA+ Forensic Coding solution contains no harmful chemicals. To ensure correct application, please follow the application guidelines.
Does the DNA+ Forensic Coding system have anything to do with human DNA?
No. This product is called “DNA+” because it carries an alphanumeric code unique to each customer, similar to how human DNA is unique to each individual.
If I opted out of having my basic information shared with third party vendors, as stated in the Foremost Privacy Policy, will I still receive the DNA+ Forensic Coding system?
No, you will not receive the DNA+ Forensic Coding system. If you would still like to receive it, call Foremost at 1-800-752-2461 and select the prompt for questions about a current policy. Let the agent know you opted out of having your information shared with third party vendors, but would still like to receive the DNA+ Forensic Coding system. They will ask you for the information needed to obtain a DNA+ system for your bike.

The DNA+ Forensic Coding System is not available in these states: Alaska, Indiana, New Hampshire, Virginia. The DNA+ theft protection system will only be sent to new customers with active policies in force 30 days after policy issuance.
